How many people can be in a cartoon?
Guests be in a cartoon by themselves, or they can share the spotlight and have a friend star in an adventure alongside them! Some adventures can even accommodate a whole group of people. For instance, the adventure "It's Your Birthday!" features the birthday boy or girl, along with all of their family and friends who attend their party, up to about 15 people.
How big is the kiosk?
In order to accommodate the theatrical lighting and camera equipment, the minimum/standard kiosk size is (approximately) 8 feet tall by 8 feet wide, by 11 feet long (from the front of the counter to the back of the kiosk). For more information on MVOA kiosks, click here.
What is the investment to become a MVOA licensee?
An initial investment includes an MVOA kiosk with all the equipment and on-site training. For specifics, please fill out an Information Request Form.
Is technical support available to me?
24-7! Our support center is located in the continental United States and is staffed by professionals who have experience running a kiosk. From hardware and software to lighting and any other problem that might occur, we have someone on staff to help you. If we can’t resolve your problem via e-mail or telephone, we’ll arrange for a technician to come to your location to fix the problem.
What’s the age range of children for MVOA?
Basically, anyone! Children under two years old are advised to perform alongside a parent. We have adventures for small children, and some for teens and adults! These cartoons aren’t just for kids, but being a kid at heart doesn’t hurt!
Any restrictions or specifications that I need to know about?
We try to shy people away from wearing bright lime green (same color as the green screen). Whatever we film that is bright green disappears!
Is the process hard to learn? Who will teach me how to be an “Adventure Director?”
It's super-easy! GreenKey, our proprietary software, does all the work for you. The process is easy and anyone with basic computer skills can master it very quickly. Once you have the hang of it, you should be able to make your aspiring actors and actresses into stars of their “Very Own Adventure” in 5 to 7 minutes.
After you’ve committed to be part of the MVOA team, we’ll send in our experts to help with the setup of the kiosk, lighting, camera and computer system. We’ll then go through the entire process with you until you and your team are comfortable doing it on your own. After all, our success depends on your success!
